Lyrics for “Yesterday” by Mary Mary

Yesterday- by Mary Mary

I had enough heartache
And enough headaches
I’ve had so many ups and downs
Don’t know how much more I can take
See I decided that I cried my last tear
Yesterday
Either I’m going to trust You
Or I may as well walk away
‘Cause stressing don’t make it better
Don’t make it better, no way
See I decided that i cried my last tear
Yesterday

Yesterday, I decided to put my trust in You
Yesterday, I realized that You will being me through

There ain’t nothing to hard for my God, no
Any problems that I have
He’s greater than them all, so
I decided that I cried my last tear
Yesterday

Yesterday, I decided to put my trust in You
Yesterday, I realized that You will being me through

There ain’t nothing to hard for my God, no
Any problems that I have
He’s greater than them all, so
I decided that I cried my last tear
Yesterday

The first time i heard this song it brought tears to my eye’s, if you are a child
of God and you have some struggles in your life, this is the song to listen to
when it says i’ve had enough heartaches and enough headaches and so many ups
and downs. I related to this. But i know that God laid this song on their hearts
and Mary Mary God bless you and keep up the work of God. Thank you cause
I’ve cried my last cry yesterday.

  2. I heard the song for the first time 10/08/06…all I could say was, “Hold me Lord!”…
If you love the song, Trouble In My Way”, you will surely love this song. With so much going on in the world today, in and out the church…this song will truely touch you deeply within your heart.
Three letter discribes this song to the letter…W.O.W!

  3. Anita Watson says:

I actually paid attention to this song when Mary Mary perfomed it on the Tom Joyner Show and I froze because it was like a video reflection of my life with the only ending that would turn my life around after trying and reaching out to everything worldly possibly “Yesterday, I decided to put my trust in You, Yesterday, I realized that You will bring me through”. This song keeps replaying in my head and believe it or not, helps me to think about the paths I take in dealing with the problems in my life and I can honestly say it even gives me the confidence to lean more on my Lord. Thank you Jesus for sending this message to me through your angels “Mary Mary” and God Bless you all.

the very first time i heard yesterday was when my cousin breanna smith danced off of it and i really liked it. and every time i wanted to cry about something i remembered that song and every time i went through something that i knew i couldn’t get of like for example getting taken away from my mom i just remembered that song and i just kept my head up no matter the consequences. so i thank those 2 wonderful gospels singers for making that wonderful song it really inspired me alot. thanks mary-mary you 2 women really made me come through alot of stuff that i thought i wouldn’t make it through but i had to do was to listen to your song.

This song is like a theme song for me. I’m going through a diorce and it’s very difficult but i decided that instead of putting my trust man I will put my trust in God.So i really did decide to cry my last tear yesterday.

  7. melvina Brown says:

Hi my name is Melvina Brown and i’m 20 years old and i love this song yesterday because it takes you through things and let you know give god your heart and your problems will disappear proberly not right there but it will come right on time. this is a very beautiful so and i love it and my 14 year old sister.

  8. I ‘m a grandmother of 13, great grandmother of 4,
when I heard your song I felt the annointing of
the Holy Spirit and it reinforced my faith in
knowing that God always takes care of me and my family. I have raised all of these children with
God’s Help and cared for them in my childcare center. Both parents of 5 children are deceased.
But God has given Reverend and I the strength we
needed to endure the storms in our lives. No mother
expects to bury her children but I can truly say
“I’ve cried my last tear Yesterday”

Thank you for your beautiful voices and
may God continue to use both of you in your ministry.

  9. Yvette Kinard says:

1 word, BEAUTIFUL. The song is beautifully sung and does minister to my soul. However, it will take much patience to get to this place. I will continue to adhere to the lyrics of the song because like I said, ” BEAUTIFUL”. May God continue to bless you 2, as you bless us, in The Name of Jesus.
