Super Bowl Gospel Celebration

January 20, 2008

Burger King is now spinning an online contest that combines the Super Bowl, gospel singing, and user-uploaded content. The unusual combination is part of a “My Song, My Way” campaign that first surfaced this week.

Participants must upload an acapella video performance to enter, and winning contestants will receive an all-expenses-paid vacation to Super Bowl XLII in Phoenix, Arizona. The winners will also be invited to perform alongside NFL players at the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration, which takes place at Phoenix Symphony Hall.

The contest, which runs through January 28th, can be found at http://www.mysongmyway.com. Also involved in the initiative is Atlanta-based entertainment production company Results, Inc.

Hope For The Future

January 6, 2008

Your hope for the future is founded in the promises of God’s Word. Do you have confidence in the future? Make a mental list of His provision on your behalf during the past year–answered prayers, met needs and other blessings. God’s faithfulness in keeping His promises in the past gives you confident hope for the future.
