Kevin LeVar & One Sound- Let’s Come Together

Preacher kid Kevin LeVar (born Kevin LeVar Gray; not to be confused with Kirk Franklin singer/comedian Kevin L. Gray) is a newcomer to the gospel stage. While he has worked up an incredible list of spectacular itinerary dates in the last couple of year that ranges from appearances on the Gospel Music Channel to a performance at the NBA All Star Weekend festivities in Denver, he is still relevantly fresh and surprisingly unknown to the world. Miriam Tateum- Abba Father

With humble beginnings singing with the Harris Family on the HOB label in the 1970s, Miriam Tatuem returns to music after many years of silence after becoming an assistant pastor, along with her husband Roger Tatuem, of Helping Hands Ministries in Churchville, Maryland. Abba Father, her return to the music scene as a solo artist, is quite a stunning display of traditional gospel and worship music. It also focuses on Tatuem’s unearthed songwriting skills since she pens all twelve of the selections presented. An important inclusion to the disc’s grandeur is the production support from Grammy-award winner Steven Ford (renowned for his work with Richard Smallwood, T.D. Jakes and Vickie Winans). It is Ford’s stellar expertise – with his assuring Hammond B-3 skills and keyboard magic, that gives Tatuem’s compositions the needed posturing it needs to become radio ready. He also brings popular gospel session guitarist Jonathan Dubose, Jr. on board to give the songs that special ambient glow.
