Syndication One announces the launch of “CoCo Brother Live,” a weeknight inspirational program that began airing last last week, from 7pm -11pm EST.
The new program is hosted by Cory “CoCo Brother” Condrey, who was the host of a nationally syndicated weekend radio show
The weeknight radio show will be based in Atlanta, broadcasting on WPZE Praise 102.5 FM, and will also debut on many of Radio One’s inspirational stations in the following markets: Houston, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Baltimore, Cleveland, Charlotte, Indianapolis, Raleigh, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Richmond.
“CoCo Brother is a lightning rod on the radio who can electrify, inspire, and entertain like only a chosen few,” says Gary Bernstein, President of Programming at Syndication One. “We are confident that he will do the same at inspirational stations all across the country.”
Guests for the debut broadcast of CoCo Brother Live on Friday, April 10th were Byron Cage, Bishop Eddie Long, Dottie Peoples, J Moss, and Israel Houghton.
“It has always been my mission to save souls and be that bridge to bring the whole family together,” says CoCo Brother. “I am grateful to Radio One and Syndication One for giving me the opportunity to touch millions of lives everyday. The radio show will encourage people to keep standing, but more importantly save souls!”
Some of the special segments on CoCo Brother Live will include The Battle, which will showcase two chart topping songs where listeners will vote for their favorite; The Exodus Mix, a fifteen minute inspirational segment that will include hits from top-named Gospel artists; Stand and Take Authority, a part of the broadcast that takes an encouraging word from either an artist or inspirational leader; and I- Pray, the part of the broadcast that will give listeners the opportunity to call in and pray for each other.
“CoCo Brother Live” is a natural extension of his successful weekend program which airs in many major markets including Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Detroit with more markets to be announced soon.

Hello brother coca, I need you all to stand in the gap of my prayer for backsliding. I have messed up real bad, I was free of depression as well as addiction. I am trying so hard to get back but its not working. YET! I condem myself. I am my own worst enemy. I am even seeing a change in my children’s behavior. I also would like to pray for all the families that are affected by the swine flu. I pray that the medicine is always available to thoes who need it. Hello CoCo Brother, I was listening to your requests for our comments on 5/1 regarding playing a song by Pharell, a secular artist…I think it is awesome that a secular artist would write or sing a gospel song. However, I want to share that these artist have a larger platform to than gospel artist do to have songs played…Shows such as yours should focus on promoting the talents of the gospel artists…If he or any other secular musicians dedicated an entire album to gospel, then it would or should be no question that the songs are played on gospel music stations.
It is so unfortunate that the people calling were judging his salvation and not answering your question…We don’t really know if all the gospel artists are saved, but the music they sing and produce is solely dedicated to the ministry…and I think that is the point that should be made!
I would love to listen to a show like yours or Yolanda Adams and here something about Andre Crouch or members of the Hawkins Family or an interview with Sunday Best Artists versus knowing what happened on American Idle or artists that have more money and more air time than those in the gospel music industry!
We only here about Pastor Timothy Wright or Pop Winans thru the grapevine or if we are surfing the net…we don’t see their names on the nightly news and they were trailblazers!
Please don’t get me wrong, others may have something to share, but if the roles were reversed, they are not playing gospel songs by Dottie Peoples or Luther Barnes or even Hezekiah Walker on a secular station!

Hello All, I am requesting prayer for complete and total healing for a close relative of mine. hay coco brother ma name ronald man listen to yopu has been a change four me at point like this one. i been in nc four a while now and bing out here on my own ant easy like it waz been up in my home town but it just prove that im becom somthing bigger than others. im happy say im now in to god alot im make ever min his time as i can.

I was moved on last Friday Night when I heard Ms. Hughes urgent message to listeners to Pray and contact their Local Representatives in reference to HR 848. I was on the road to NJ. When Ms. Hughes said “We should change the name of your show to CoCo Brother ALIVE! I agree!
Her message moved my Spirit as I began to Intercede on her behalf, yours as well as the other stations that are left and those that have already sold out. I want to share with Ms. Hughes, her son, Mr. Liggins as well as yourself: Keep Hope Alive!
What is happening is nothing new. Read the Book of Ester. God has a plan. And as we know it is never too late in the Spirit. I realize there is another vote on June 1, 2009. However; we can still make a difference. Timing is very important.

I just want to thankyou for the wonderful radio program you have i listen all the time and it is such an inspiration to me and the praying for an hour is so powerful and i’m blessed to be a part of it. I would like to request prayer for just surviving in this world today. There is so much going on and so many unexpected deaths and it’s so hard to stay focused and know that God is still control even with my personal situations I just ask for you to cover me in your prayers as I do you in mine.
