Flame, Da TRUTH and J.R. Receive 2009 Dove Award Nominations

Cross Movement Records is pleased to announce that three of their artists, FLAME, Da’ T.R.U.T.H. and J.R., have been nominated for song award honors at the 2009 GMA Dove Awards. FLAME and Da’ T.R.U.T.H. are both nominated in the “Rap/Hip-Hop Recorded Song” category for the song “Joyful Noise” from FLAME’s GRAMMY Award-nominated album, Our World Redeemed, while J.R. is nominated in the “Urban Recorded Song” category for the song “Not a Slave” from his latest album, Life By Stereo. Christian music’s biggest night of the year, the 40th Annual GMA Dove Awards will take place on April 23, 2009, at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tenn., with artists from every style of gospel and Christian music coming together for a special night of music and celebration. The award show will be broadcast live nationwide that night on the Gospel Music Channel from 8-10 p.m. EST/PST.
